At this time, our firm is no longer accepting new eviction matters or court-based cases. We are refining our practice to better serve clients through focused, high-quality legal services in the following areas:

Effective May 9, 2026, our office hours will transition to weekend availability, with primary office hours on Saturdays and Sundays.

Beginning June 1, 2026, we will also offer select evening appointments, as needed.

Shellie Washington is the owner of Law WIRED, LLC. Shellie is a skilled attorney practicing in the areas of real estate, estate planning, and business formation in Illinois. With a diverse legal background, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice.

As a former litigator, Shellie has handled a wide range of cases, including toxic tort, civil rights, insurance defense, and criminal law matters. Her background in litigation has equipped her with strong advocacy skills and a keen ability to strategize and navigate complex legal challenges.

Prior to her current focus, Shellie served as an Assistant State's Attorney, gaining valuable insight into the criminal justice system and refining her trial advocacy and negotiation skills. She also has experience as a staff attorney, where she developed strong research and writing skills. Shellie obtained her Bachelor's degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.

Based in Illinois, Shellie is dedicated to providing personalized and efficient legal services to clients in matters related to real estate, estate planning, and business formation. Her comprehensive legal background, combined with her commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients, makes her a trusted advisor and advocate.
